1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using PupperWalk ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service Description
PupperWalk provides a mobile platform for:
- Dog walkers to manage clients, schedule walks, send updates, and track routes
- Dog owners to receive walk updates, communicate with their walker, and manage dog details
3. User Accounts
Dog Walkers
- Must provide accurate business and contact information
- Are responsible for the safety and welfare of dogs in their care
- Must hold appropriate insurance and licences as required by local law
- Are responsible for obtaining client consent before collecting GPS data
Dog Owners (Clients)
- Must provide accurate information about their dogs, including allergies, behaviour, and medical conditions
- Must ensure emergency contact details are up to date
- Understand that walk updates and GPS data are provided by the walker and we do not independently verify them
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- Dog walkers may subscribe to paid plans for additional features
- Subscriptions are billed monthly
- Dog owners are never charged
- All prices displayed include VAT where applicable
- UK customers are charged VAT at the standard rate (currently 20%)
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice
- Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection law and app store policies

5. GPS Tracking
- GPS tracking is an optional feature enabled by the dog walker
- Location data is collected only during active walks when the feature is enabled
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of GPS data, distance calculations, or route information
- GPS data is provided as an indicative record, not a precise measurement
- Walkers must inform their clients that GPS tracking is in use
6. Waivers
- Waivers created by dog walkers are between the walker and their client
- PupperWalk stores waivers as a service but does not provide legal advice
- The enforceability of digital waivers depends on applicable local law
- We recommend walkers seek legal advice for their waiver content
7. Messaging
- Messages are private between the walker and client
- We do not monitor message content but reserve the right to investigate reports of abuse
- Do not share sensitive information (bank details, passwords) via messages
8. Content and Photos
- Users retain ownership of photos and content uploaded to the App
- By uploading content, you grant PupperWalk a licence to store, display, and transmit it for the purpose of providing the service
- Do not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes third-party rights
9. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate another person
- Upload malicious content
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Reverse-engineer or scrape the App
- Use the App to harass or harm others
10. Liability
- PupperWalk is a platform connecting walkers and clients. We are not a party to the dog walking service.
- We do not vet, certify, or insure dog walkers
- We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from dog walking services
- We provide the App "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim
11. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- On termination, your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
12. Intellectual Property
- PupperWalk, the PupperWalk logo, and "Pupdates" are trademarks
- The App and its original content are protected by copyright
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
